Refunding Policy

ascrion hopes everyone who registers for GCP-Health will be able to attend; however, we know that individual situations occur that may require you to cancel your registration. This page details our cancellation and refund policy, and provides instructions on how to cancel a registration.


How to cancel
Any request by a registered participant (registrant) must be received in writing via e-mail to the GCP-Health contact address that is provided in your online registration receipt and registration confirmation e-mail. Please provide name, company, and the event you are registered to attend. Upon receipt of your cancellation notice, our GCP-Health team will process your request and send you an email confirming your cancellation. Refund for cancellation of registration will be made and subject to the following deadline and administrative charge:

Cancellation refund requested by the customer
•    For fee-based events, a request for cancellation (and refund) will be accepted up to the deadline time of 4 weeks before the event starts. As soon as the „Send meeting request“ feature and the participant list are fully available to all participants, refunding is not possible any more.
•    All approved refunds are subject to an administration fee to offset charges. A cancellation fee of 10% of the registration fee will apply to cover costs incurred in relation to your registration.
•    Credit card surcharges are non-refundable.
•    Refunds will only be processed to the credit card or bank account of the individual, organisation or institution from which the payment was received. All refunds will be made using the original form of payment and currency.
•    An alternative delegate name may be provided in writing to avoid cancellation fee. The invoice for the new registration will be revised.

Event cancellation or postponement
Unforeseen circumstances is used to describe a situation that is unexpected and prevents ascrion from continuing with the conference. Examples of such circumstances can include, but are not limited to natural disasters, site unavailability and technology challenges. Should the event be cancelled or postponed due to unforeseen circumstances, all registrants will receive a full refund of fees paid (no administration charges) no later than 4 weeks following the cancellation date of the event. However, ascrion does not assume responsibility for any additional costs, charges or expenses.
